This privacy policy explains how LumaNight ("the Extension", "the App", "we", "us") handles your data. LumaNight is a Safari browser extension for iPhone and iPad, developed and operated by Kevin Merz.

2. How the Extension Works
LumaNight transforms website colors to create a dark mode experience. Here's exactly what happens:
2.1 What the Extension Does
- CSS Injection: The extension injects CSS rules into web pages to change colors from light to dark
- Local Processing: All transformations happen locally on your device in real-time
- No Page Content Access: We do not read, store, or transmit any content from the pages you visit
2.2 Data Stored Locally
- Your Settings: Dark mode preferences (mode, contrast, image preservation) are stored locally on your device using browser storage
- No Sync: Settings are never synced to any server or cloud service
- Your Control: You can reset all settings by removing and reinstalling the extension
3. Permissions Explained
The extension requires certain Safari permissions to function. Here's why we need each one:
- "Read and alter web page content" - Required to apply dark mode CSS styling to websites. We only alter the visual appearance (colors), never the actual content.
- "Storage" - Required to save your preferences locally on your device.
4. What We Don't Do
To be completely clear about our privacy practices:
- We never collect your browsing history
