New File from Right Click ("the App") is developed by Kevin Merz ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our macOS application.

The short version: We do not collect any data. New File from Right Click does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All file creation happens entirely on your device.

We do not collect any data. Specifically:

• We do not make any network requests
• We do not upload any files or data to any server
• We do not use any third-party analytics or tracking tools

Local Processing

All file creation happens entirely on your Mac. Your files and directories never leave your device. We have no servers that receive or process your data. The App uses UserDefaults solely for storing your app preferences (such as enabled file types and settings) locally on your device.

File Access

New File from Right Click only accesses Finder directories when you explicitly create a file via the right-click context menu. The App uses a Finder Sync Extension to integrate with Finder and operates within macOS's App Sandbox, which means it cannot access files or directories outside of the locations you explicitly interact with.

Third-Party Services

New File from Right Click does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

If you download the app from the Mac App Store, Apple may collect certain information as described in their privacy policy. We do not have access to this data.

Children's Privacy

Since we do not collect any data, New File from Right Click is safe for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

• File creation errors or failures
• Overwritten or replaced files
• File permission issues
• Finder Sync Extension activation or deactivation issues
• Loss of profits or revenue
• Business interruption
• Loss of use or functionality
• Any errors in file creation or output
• Any other damages arising from the use or inability to use the App

This limitation applies regardless of whether the damages arise from use or misuse of the App, inability to use the App, or interruption, suspension, or termination of the App.

User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

• Maintaining backup copies of your files and documents
• Verifying created files before relying on them
• Ensuring proper file and directory permissions
• Ensuring the App is suitable for your intended use
• Any consequences resulting from using the App

No Professional Advice

The App is a utility tool and does not provide professional, legal, or any other form of advice. Always verify important files independently.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Kevin Merz from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
